Lock Event feature allows you to turn your free livestream into a paid or member-exclusive event while hosting, providing better engagement for your Space.

This feature comes in handy when you want to give your audience a peeps before offering them exclusive livestream experience.

What happens when you lock your event:

1. Depends on your settings, current viewers will be required to either pay a fee, or purchase membership to continue watching your livestream.

2. New viewers will see payment/membership requirements before accessing your livestream.

3. Live guests are not affected by event locking and can keep staying in your livestream.

How to lock your event:

1. During your livestream, tap/click Tool

2. Select "Lock room".

3. At the lock room tab, you can:

• Set a price to make it a paid event.
• Check Membership box to make it member-exclusive.
• Or choose both options to give viewers options to access your livestream.

Notes:

- When you enable both paid and membership options, viewers can choose either to subscribe or pay with stars to access your livestream.

- Except live guests, current viewers who refuse to pay will be kicked out of your livestream.
